After obtaining publishing rights to this famous Saturday Evening Post cover, we created this ad, which ran in a national magazine. With apologies to Norman Rockwell, Dave Hile seamlessly made a few illustrative additions, including modifying the girl's arms and hands to hold the Slinky (in the original version she is sitting on her hands), and adding the opened Slinky box on the bench. It was fun to imitate the great master's style.
